March 31, 2025 – The Kullman Firm is pleased to announce that Emily Elizabeth Tastet has joined the firm as an associate in the New Orleans, LA, office.

Emily focuses her practice in the area of employee benefits and tax-related matters.  She helps clients resolve questions related to health and welfare plans, defined benefit and defined contribution plans, payroll taxes, and other matters governed by the Internal Revenue Service, the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) of the U.S. Department of Labor, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), and Health and Human Services (HHS). Emily advises with respect to retirement, health, and welfare benefits both subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and not. In addition, she offers advice on executive compensation matters.  She received her J.D./D.C.L, from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, cum laude, in 2019 and her B.B.A. from Loyola University, in Economics, magna cum laude, in 2016.
