The Kullman Firm Names Setara C. Ozan as Senior Trial Counsel

January 1, 2026 – The Kullman Firm is pleased to announce that Setara C. Ozan was named Senior Trial Counsel effective January 1, 2026.

Setara’s practice includes defending employers in complex labor and employment litigation, representing clients in workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters in state and federal courts nationwide. She is a seasoned jury trial lawyer who has tried cases to verdict across multiple jurisdictions and regularly conducts mock trials to prepare clients for high-stakes litigation. She also advises employers on preventative policies and procedures designed to foster healthy workplace cultures and mitigate litigation risk.

She recently taught at Samford University Cumberland School of Law from 2016 through 2024. She received her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in 2012 where she was a member of the Cumberland National Trial Team; Champion, 2011 National Institute of Trial Advocacy Tournament of Champions; Dean’s List (All Semesters); and a Scholar of Merit: Constitutional Law, Advanced Evidence, Advanced Skills in Trial Advocacy.  She received her B.A. in Political Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2008.  She was involved in Student Government, a Multicultural Peer Advocate, Chapter President, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Chapter President, National Pan-Hellenic Council.
