THE FIRM
The Kullman Firm is one of the oldest and most experienced labor management and employment law firms in the United States. We exclusively represent private and public employers in all matters relating to employment laws and regulations, discrimination issues, labor relations, pension and benefit plan matters, and all other areas concerning human resources management. The firm’s attorneys are always available to consult with clients on-site, whether their facilities are located within the United States or abroad, and since labor matters are often emergency situations, our attorneys are willing to travel throughout the country on a moment’s notice in a crisis.
While the firm is justifiably proud of its record in defending clients in court, before arbitrators, and in administrative proceedings, we are even more committed to providing proactive legal advice to help our clients achieve their business goals while complying with applicable law. Our representation of clients in a wide range of industries, from airlines to hospitals to wood products, provides our attorneys with a sound understanding of the general business practices of most companies. History
The Kullman Firm was founded in 1946 with one area of practice – one focus: labor and employment law on behalf of management. The emphasis in the beginning was representing clients facing labor union challenges along with FLSA issues and other employee relations matters. We are proud of our heritage and of the pioneers in the labor and employment field who preceded us at the firm such as Fred A. Kullman, Leslie Inman, John “Monte” Bee, Carl Downing, and Fred S. “Freddy” Kullman.
The active members of the firm strive to continue this record of excellence and have hundreds of years of cumulative experience which is invaluable to employers seeking assistance in navigating their companies through today’s set of laws and regulations governing employee relations. While many laws have been added since 1946 (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, OSHA, ERISA, COBRA, OFCCP and the like), we still maintain our original philosophy: one area of practice – one focus: labor and employment law on behalf of management. Due to the number and complexity of these laws, maintaining this philosophy is more important than ever as it takes a 100 percent commitment to be able to give clients the advice and guidance they need and deserve.
We invite you to draw on our many years of experience representing employers.
