July 26, 2024 – In 2020, The Kullman Firm established a scholarship in furtherance of the Firm’s commitment to advance diversity within the legal profession. Each year the Kullman Firm Scholarship is awarded to a Dillard University graduate who will be attending law school.
This year we are pleased to announce that the Kullman Firm Scholarship was awarded to Ashley Brown.
Ashley graduated from Dillard University as its valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA with a major in Business Administration and a minor in pre-law.
Ashley is a co-founder and co-CEO of Youth Tutor Initiative, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides free virtual tutoring services to K-8 students throughout the U.S. Ashley believes that all children have a right to a free and fair education regardless of their economic status, and she created the program during the COVID-19 pandemic to help relieve the financial burden placed on families. Ashley is also a fellow with the Melton Foundation’s Global Citizen program which focuses on understanding how we can set aside borders and differences to become citizens of the world and in turn better the world around us.
Ashley will be attending UCLA School of Law in the fall. Ashley was extremely grateful to be this year’s Kullman Firm Scholarship recipient.
We wish her the best as she embarks upon her law school journey!
