March 2, 2023 – The Kullman Firm is proud to announce that MaryJo Roberts, a shareholder in the New Orleans office, will be recognized for her dedication to the New Orleans Public School System and presented with the 2023 Inspire Higher Award.

This award is presented to “those who have contributed tirelessly to the InspireNOLA community and by extension, the lives of thousands of young people. Whose leadership, commitment, and drive are shining examples of Inspiration, Aspiration, and Dedication.”

MaryJo works very closely with InspireNOLA, one of the highest-performing charter management organizations in New Orleans. The organization serves over 5,000 students across eight charter schools in the city. Each InspireNOLA school is built on four pillars: positive culture, academic framework, accountability, and continuous growth.

Since its inception in 2013, MaryJo has served on the InspireNOLA Board and is presently the 2023 Board President. Her passion to support accessible education stems from being the child of a public school teacher. She believes that education is an integral link in the success of a community as a whole.

MaryJo will be presented with the 2023 Inspire Higher Award at the Inspire Higher Gala on March 17, 2023 at the Arbor Room at Popp Fountain in New Orleans City Park.
