The Kullman Firm is pleased to announce that M. Rebecca Cooper has been named as a finalist for the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel’s (LADC) 2023 Frank L. Maraist Award.
Rebecca Cooper is an associate in the New Orleans office and focuses her practice in a variety of labor and employment law matters. She defends clients in litigation involving claims of race, sex, disability, age, and national origin discrimination, as well as retaliation and other matters. She serves employers in a wide range of industries, including those operating in the energy, law enforcement, and nonprofit sectors. She serves as Vice Chair of the Younger Lawyers’ Division of the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
The Frank L. Maraist Award recognizes a young lawyer who has outstanding achievements in his/her practice and has made significant contributions to the legal profession, the defense bar, and his/her community. The recipient of the award is selected based on professional excellence; service to the profession and the bar; commitment to pro bono work and community service; and contributions to furthering the ideals of the legal profession.
The Frank L. Maraist Award will be presented during the LADC Young Lawyers Awards and Board Dinner on December 7, 2023.
