July 17, 2023 – The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) recently posted on its EEO-1 data collection page that it has not yet completed the three-year renewal process for the filing of EEO-1 reports with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), which is required by the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA).  As a result, they have again pushed back the date for the opening of 2022 Component 1 data collection to Fall of 2023.  Historically, EEO-1 data collection has been held in the Spring.  Early this year the EEOC pushed the collection period back to an unstated date in July.  Likewise, there is not yet an official date for the Fall opening.
