Ms. Cooper, a native of Jefferson, Texas, received her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law in 2016, where she served as Student Note Editor for the Alaska Law Review. Ms. Cooper was active in the Civil Justice Clinic and Children’s Law Clinic and earned the 2016 Duke Law Clinics Advocacy Award. In addition, Ms. Cooper served as Teaching Assistant for Legal Advocacy, Research, and Writing to Professor Jeremy Mullem and was a member of the Duke Law Mock Trial Board. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Cooper taught Kindergarten and First Grade at a charter school in New Orleans.

Ms. Cooper is admitted to practice law in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Cooper currently represents employers in various areas of employment and labor law.
