overview

"I’m entirely dedicated to my clients. I consider their problems as my problems, and their successes as my successes. I take a contemplative and deliberate approach to resolving the challenges and issues they bring me, yet I also work efficiently. By getting to know the details of their concerns and goals, I can craft responses that are as strategic and effective as possible."

Practice Overview

Litigator Daniel Wood represents regional and national corporate clients in employment and labor matters and risk-management decisions related to litigation. Daniel advocates for his clients nationwide in arbitrations and in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. His appellate practice spans the Fourth, Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Daniel draws on three decades of experience in advising employers on compliance, policy issues, and disputes. His representations have included jury trials in various jurisdictions for an international IT services company, ADR arbitrations for a national health care corporation, and Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) labor arbitrations pursuant to collective bargaining agreements for a defense contractor. He also has formulated and implemented specific employee benefit policies for 50-state compliance.

With a varied client base, Daniel adeptly familiarizes himself with many different kinds of industries and the details of each business’s operations to provide exceptional guidance through challenges and opportunities. He tailors his recommendations to precisely fit clients’ needs, risk preferences, and future goals, while always staying within the bounds of applicable statutes and regulations.

Clients rely on Daniel to help them navigate through the ever-evolving regulatory landscape, challenging economic times, and a highly litigious employment environment. He vigorously advances his clients’ best interests while maintaining a practical and cooperative approach that facilitates his ability to gain the optimal resolution and outcome for each dispute or matter.
